About the recording studio

Welcome to Ning Studio, which is a specialized facility designed for the sole purpose of recording the piano, one of the most nuanced and dynamic instruments in music. The acoustics, recording equipment, and layout are carefully calibrated to capture the rich, broad spectrum of sound that a piano produces. 

The studio will also often have me, a skilled sound engineer or producer, experienced in piano recording. As a concert pianist, I will not only understand the technical aspects of capturing the piano's sound but also have the musical knowledge to help achieve the artist's vision. This professional helps select the right microphones, find the best placement, and ensure the recording is clean and balanced.
